Computer Security Day
Today marks Computer Security Day celebrated annually on 30 November around the world.
This date aims to alert to the dangers associated with using an unprotected computer. With the evolution of technology, there are more and more solutions to fix computer vulnerabilities, but also new dangers.
On this day, citizens are encouraged to perform a thorough virus scan on their computers and to renew their antivirus software, if it is outdated.
Passwords should be changed every six months for security, and never shared. You can also take a backup copy of all files and data stored on your computer.
Computer Security Day was created in 1988 in the United States of America and aims to alert and minimize the risks of using computers.
